SFP Group is a nationwide corporate recovery and business turnaround specialist, based in Canary Wharf, London. It was founded by Simon and Daniel Plant, both licensed Insolvency Practitioners since 2002 and has a key focus within the corporate lending community. SFP Group has more than 50 employees, with each of its specialist business divisions overseen by a director and account team.

The Managing Partners have more than 30 years experience within the turnaround and restructuring industry, with specialist knowledge of the accountancy and legal professions. With SFP’s extensive industry experience, the Group is regularly instructed to advise and work alongside financiers, quoted and privately owned companies and individuals nationwide in the fields of raising finance, forensic accounting, asset funding, debt recovery, corporate restructuring, and business turnaround.

    A licensed Insolvency Practitioner and an established lawyer specialising in insolvency, credit and security law, Simon is one of a few UK lawyers to change professions into the turnaround world. He has core expertise of the corporate restructuring and refinancing market.

    Daniel is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner with over 20 years' industry experience. He specialises in corporate insolvency regimes and works closely with a panel of accountants who benefit from his restructuring and turnaround expertise.

    Jeremy is an RICS chartered surveyor and Registered Valuer with over 25 years' experience within the property industry. Jeremy is a Registered Receiver and Registered Property Valuer who has significant experience dealing with all asset types across the country, and advises clients in property insolvency and business turnaround scenarios.

    Dipika began her SFP Group career as a Recoveries Manager in 2008 and is CPI qualified. She moved over to SFP Brokers in 2014 where she now manages the rapidly growing team and lead flow. Dipika also manages various projects within the Company.

    Law graduate, CPI and JIE qualified, David has over nine years' experience within the business restructuring and turnaround industry. At SFP he deals with restructuring corporates in both turnaround and insolvency scenarios.

    CPI and ACA qualified, Richard has over five years' experience in a range of areas including Business Restructuring, Administrations, Liquidations and Bankruptcies. To add to the impressive variety of knowledge he brings to the SFP Group, Richard also deals with the Group's Compliance matters and assists with corporation tax in Insolvency cases.

    Michelle worked in insolvency practices for 14 years before spending the next seven years at the Insolvency Practitioners Association, four years as its Head of Regulatory Standards and Monitoring. She became JIE-qualified in 2001 and for the past few years she has been working as a consultant specialising in compliance and systems solutions.

    As head of HR and a member of the CIPD, Crystal is responsible for all of the staff development and training at SFP. She has spent almost ten years' in the insolvency and recovery sector, overseeing all policies and procedures for the team.

    As Head of Partnerships, Sara is responsible for all external relations, from both new and existing suppliers and partners to trade organisations and industry bodies. She is also responsible for actively promoting the SFP Group and growing awareness of its brokerage service to the SME market.

    As Head of Secretarial Support, Hannah oversees the secretarial support team and is also responsible for setting up new procedures and systems. In this role, she acts also as the liaison for the administrations team. Managing the appointments whilst the team are on site, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
